The mess made if steel and composite materials you see above once was a brand new Peugeot 208 T16 rally car, built to R5 specifications and eligible to start in pretty much every rally series, national or international.

This car specifically was driven by !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! from Estonia during the Rally Poland when he took a turn too fast, ran wide and as a result rolled his little 208. Spectators were on scene immediately and made sore both the Kruuda and his co-driver are okay, and luckily they both are. It proves how much safety has evolved in motorsports.

Apparently a few hours later, when the car - I assume irreparable - was all loaded up on a trailer, the co-driver remembered that his phone was somewhere in the cabin. The crash relocated the phone to the bottom of the remaining cabin, right at the rear wheel well. With the car being a write-off anyway, the crew simply tears apart the bodywork to retrieve the phone. I couldn't quite make out which model it was, but it's safe to say that it's now sports the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Only rally racing could produce such a story, although a former F1 and now rally driver too had !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
